The Rpyal Austraian Navy offers the following ships for sale. 4 Available.



Thorneycroft " R " Class Destroyers



Dimensions: 274' 3" (o.a.) x 27 x 11 feet. (max.) draught 1034-7 tons
Length (p.p.), 265 feet. Mean draught, 8' 6".
Guns: 3-4 inch, 1-2 pdr. pom-pom, 1 M.G. Tubes : 4-21 inch in pairs.
Machinery : Brown-Curtis (all-geared) turbines, 2 screws. Designed S.H.P. 29,000 = 35 kts, Boilers: 3 Yarrow. Oil fuel: about 285/220 tons.

How much for all four? Could they be refitted to destroyer-minelayer types, or have their guns replaced?

Minimum of 200 tons per ship. Im pretty sure they can easily be turned into minelayers.
