The Pirates of the Caribbean would have to deal with Iberian, Atlantean and U.S. naval forces. Thats three significantly large naval forces.

Pirates of the Caribbean! Nooooo!!! I still have to finish the Pirates of the South Pacific story!

I have no problem with Harlock taking a crack at them as long as its OK with Marek,

Might be a bit difficult as the U.S. has substancial forces there and elements of the Atlantean home fleet are in the area, on their way back from their west coast tour.
