Fuerza Aerea Argentina Situation 1931

I'm still reseaching the complete makeup of the air force but it includes several Avro 504 trainers built under license several Nieuport Ni-D 29 brought in 1925 and one Dewoitine D25 fighter brought in 1928. Since 1921 the FAA has taken deleivery of 32 FMA-504 trainers, 18 FMA-504A bombers (2-4x2.5kg bombs) and some seven more with an MG in the rear cockpit.
Expansion in the FAA should result in two Fighter Regiments (3 sqn of 12 aircraft), two Bomber Regiments (1 Light 1 Medium both types 3 sqn of 12 aircraft), one Reconnaissance Regiment also tasked with light attack and one Training Group incluidng any transport aircraft. The School of Military Aviation and School for Specialists (for NCOs) will be expanded and a new Technical School added by 1936.
The Commando de Aviacion Naval will operate all aicraft connceted with oceanic duties. This will comprise by 1938 of two wings, one light floatplane with 24 aircraft and one heavy flying boat with 12-18 aircraft. Any trainers and transports will be attached to a new training squadron.

New procurement
To arm the new fighter squadrons an order has been placed with FIAT for 30 Fiat CR.20bis fighter to be delivered from late 1931. A recent demonstration tour of the new Avro 626 Prefect two/three seat flight/nav/bombing and gunnery tranier has resulted in such an enthuiastic response from FAA officers that an order has been placed for 14 plus the demonstrator. The Hawker Audax will equip the light Bomber Regiment and 30 have been ordered. Two Junkers W34 transports have been ordered dispite the recent crash of a simialr type in airline service and the Navy is to recieve five K43 seaplane variants. Six Heinkel HD38 seaplane fighters are to be brought for Navy.

Base and personnel details will be posted later in the Argentina section.
