In may 1916 Atlantis purchased 20 British Lanchester armored cars which started the Mechanized convertion of the Atlantian army.

In July that same year 20 French Autoblinde Peugeot armored cars were purchased.

These saw little action other than patrol duty. In 1919 designers in Atlantis came up with their own armored car prototype, the NH-20 and by sept. 1920 over 1000 were produced.

In 1917 Atlantis purchased its first tanks, 40 of the British Medium tank MK A whipet.

The following year orders for the French FT-17 were placed and over 200 were built in France for Atlantis. Another 200 were built under the name AFT-17. As with the French, Atlantis discoved that the FT-17 was far from reliable when it came to maintenance and repair and designers set out to make alterations to the original design to rectify this. The result was the AT-17 and over 400 were ordered, all to be completed by the end of 1921.

Currently Atlantis is looking into improved designs of both tanks and armored cars as well as modifying the 40 "whippets" into supply carriers and experimental vehicles.

Atlantis has also introduced a new vehicle design called a half track, having two wheels at the front and a set of tracks to drive it along. The HT-1 "Rhino" will primarily be used to tow small artillary peices and move men and supply's accross rough terrain. The first order calls for 100 halftracks to be built with future orders likely to be placed.

Atlantis also possesses many armored trains stationed on the mainland and in both Venezuela and West Africa.
These armored trains consist of an armored locomotive, two artillary wagons (in front and behind the loco) and 1 to 4 assualt wagons depending on the region deployed. In war time flatcars are possitioned at either end to carry various cargo and to protect the main train from explosive devices.
