My preliminary list for aircraft of the FAM. All of them are historical but the numbers have been twitched a bit.

TNCA A, 30 (trainers)

The TNCA A is the oldest design. I might even remove it since there are already plenty of trainers. But then again I might leave it since its the only Mexican design.

The Morane-Saulnier M.S. 35C is another question mark. An interesting plane the problem being Mexico already has plenty of trainers. One option is to turn the aircraft into a fighter.

The Bristol 93B Boarhound II was a British design. Only two where built and both where bought by Mexico. I Wesworld Im going ahead with the assumption more where actualy bought.

One thing Mexico needs is fighters. My main candidates are as follows. Which one might fit in better overall?

The Spad XIII performs the best out of the designs in your list I could dig up specs on. You could also get a large number from various nations, Atlantis itself purchased some from France near the end of the war.

Heres a list of the prospective fighter designs, along with two Atlantean designs, and the American Boeing F2B-1 and F4B-1, compaired to the current Mexican fighter, the F.2B

The Boeing design was one of the best designs of the period historically before the eclipse of the monoplane fighters of the late 30's. The Atlantean designs are roughly based on the Hawker Hart series.

I would go for the SPAM... I mean SPAD. :-)
For some reason I like the SPAD S.XIII (despite it being French) so I used that as the backbone of the Japanese Air Force at the beginning of the 1920s because quite a few were built by the French.
BTW, the world's most famous user of the SPAD S.XIII is Colonel Oonishi Manzo. The number of enemy planes he shot down with this type of fighter in the closing stages of the Great War is about equal to the number of SPADs he crashed after the Great War.

Manzo should switch to flying the Curtiss Jenny, otherwise there won't be too many SPAD's left!

If you are looking to purchase new aircraft now then consider the Fiat Cr.32 as a fighter. Excellent speed and maneuverability. If you're looking for an older aircraft, go with the SPAD.

If he shot down more planes than the Red Baron, one has to worry about the number of SPADs in the world and he would be better off switching over to the CJ. Fortunately the Japanese are producing their own planes now so he has the opportunity to wreck home-made planes.

Spare the SPAD's Manzo! Fly home grown designs!

I assume Mexico is going for older designs in order to procure planes at a cheaper cost, otherwise I'd offer this brand spanking new design.

Spartan FN-8 "Cyclone" 1931

I guess Im going with the SPAD then. Actually this is more of a retrospective buy.

So at this time Mexico would begin looking for replacements not only for the SPAD but for the others too. My main choice was going to be the Curtiss P-6E but the Spartan FN-8 looks interesting. But the airraft Im really after is the Polikarov I 15.

With all these choices I might just start a contest to see who offers the best deal.

I could offer the M.A.N. package... but that one is a carrier package.

P.7 offers Good armament and speed high climb rate.
