E. Other Notes
The Z25 rebuild previously announced is proceeding on a modified basis. The proposed reconstruction was found to have inadequate composite hull strength for a small slow combatant, and the modifications amounted to greater than 30% of light displacement. The modification reduces the amount to roughly 18% and yields a >1.00 comp hull.
The Molucca and Ijseelmer were docked and some plating removed last quarter to ensure the number of capital ships remained below eight. Reconstruction and rebuilding work has commenced in earnest this quarter.
All three ships are shown below, as well as the Encyclopedia.

Hull space for machinery, storage, compartmentation is excellent
Room for accommodation and workspaces is adequate
PD Molluca has been extensively modified to be a target vessel.
Armanent has been removed (barbettes and empty turrets remain.,
accounting for 1,075 misc tons)). Every identifiable fuel source for
fires has been identified, and removed if possible, above the armor deck.
The hull has been strongly up-armored, with the main belt echoing the De
Rutyer's scheme, and the upper belt the Utrechts scheme. The main belt
has been extended downward an additional 1.5 meters to evaluate diving
shells. The main armor deck has been completely rebuilt to a 150mm
'turtle deck', and a 30mm upper deck, like found in the Friesland class,
added above. A 20mm splinterplate is below.
Marine diesels have replaced the old engines, and the former coal
bunkers replaced with a multi-layer (Liquid/void/void/liquid/)TDS system. Each of the 2 voids separators is a 10mm homogeneous plate, with the final holding bulkhead at 40mm. The inner holding bulkhead is extended to the bottom of the armor deck, resulting in the turtle back descending in front of it.
This means the waterline armor consists of a 20mm decapping plate a 360mm armor belt, a 150mm sloped deck and a 40mm plate.
Extensive internal subdivision, provisions for armored on-board control
and radio control and automatic fire fighting systems have been added.
