SG-1 Class

The SG-1 class submarine is envisioned as a coastal-ish boat for use in the Caribbean and South China Sea. As a trade warfare role is possible - with all the rules associated with such - a main gun and a twin 25mm AA mount are carried for shooting up civilian ships and aircraft respectively. Two aft tubes are retained so the boat can turn away from threats and still be threatening if necessary.

Speed and range are not spectacular, but considered adequate (range in particular, given the close proximity of likely hunting grounds).

A run of twelve or more is envisioned.
