Ok more realistic. Ill probably switch the armament t a more conventional foward aft superfiring secondaries.

Greece can build 3 of these for the price of two others and this design is heaily optimized for night fighting.

As promised here is the Chilean designed vessels using the 1929 approach. Some could easily be updated by the other years. Ships in this case are named after Greek providences.

Yikes!

300,000shp! If anything breaks at full speed there will be no engine room crew to report what happened.

I can imagine the promotional videos with these 'products' lots of action shots to the backing of Pink Flloyds 'Run Like Hell'.

Quoted

Greece can build 3 of these for the price of two others and this design is heaily optimized for night fighting.

But the CT only lets me replace 2 ships.

Quoted

and likely have wing turrets (more firepower forward while still having firepower aft).

I think I'd value a good TDS over firepower.

Cheers,

I think these are more balanced

Another couple designs, or at least two variants on the same hull. As I said, IMO, either of these two versions would have a good fire power and adequate protection and speed for a ship her size and role.

Note: I have reduced the range, seaboat quality (after all they´re mediterranean vessels) and steadiness to increase the stability, armour and firepower.

Two ships are envisaged to replace the ex-Atlantian battlecruisers.

Budget £22m total.
Must not exceed 30,000tons standard.
Must operate with scouting forces (+28knots)
Greek doctrine favours night fighting.
Use US calibre weapons (8, 10,12,14 etc.)

Designs can use tried and true technology (SIM 1929 & £24m budget (bonus for lower development costs)) new fangled stuff (SIM 1931 as

But with the capabilities your designs offer, he'd be well-advised to raise his budget.
