Queensland class Frigate


1940 Testbed refit;
- Existing triple 7.5" turrets will be pulled, and automatic twin 7.5" fitted in the existing barbettes.
- 4" Secondaries removed and replaced 4.5" Dual-purpose automatics. Development of a new medium-caliber weapon is under development, but not ready for ship trials at this time.
- 40mm replaced with twin 57mm automatics.
- Aft catapult replaced with one capable of retracting into the deck to further various testing and operations on the quarterdeck.
