LCM type 2 (formerly LCP type 2)

The Landing Craft Personel Type 2 is designed to be launched from its tender ship and deliver its complement of up to 48 troops to shore with greater efficiency than the current Infantry launches in service. To achieve this the craft has a large bow door that doubles as a ramp to allow troops to disembark. Due to its displacement they were reclassed as LCM's and called LCM type 2's.

The craft has two 7.62mm guns for defence and a crew of three.
