San Hainando Sentinel, Evening Edition, 26th January 1926

After several weeks of intense naval activity in and around the port of Sanya on the south coast, all has gone quiet.
The squadron that the Armada has assembled to clear the Philippino Revolutionaries from the Paracels, left harbour shortly after midnight. Over the last few days, the squadron flagship "El Cid" has been an imposing sight in the bay. Accompanying were the cruisers "Hasta Otra" and "Hasta Siempre", and 4 destroyers "D43", "D44", "D45", "D46".
Already on station around the Paracels are the destroyers "D109" and "D110", blockading the islands to make sure that no reinforcements get through.

In a show of co-operation, the "K.D.M. Loki" from the Danish Navy is part of the squadron.

I expected somebody to make a comment about ominous humming.

I'm looking forward to more of this story-arc, Commodore, so git t' writing!
