Q3 news query

Anybody with a Pacific coastline want to entertain SR Dhaka for a few days? The new light cruiser's going to spend Q3 wandering about on a big flag-waving tour, and a port visit is always an opportunity to work out a story of some kind.

At the moment, I intend to have her visit Agana (Pacifica) and Victoria (Canada); if other folks chime in, I can prepare an itinerary.

Reciprocal visits are welcomed, of course.

Indian vessels are always welcome in Manila Harbour.

I assumed this would be the case with you and my other allies. But I appreciate the reassurance.

Welcome to the SAE - if your ships is giong to sail that far....

Uh...she's going to the Pacific, not the Indian Ocean...

Though sooner or later our warships will hook up again.

Chile would welcome the Indian vessel, as India has been the calmest of SATSUMA's members. They will receive an escort, but a much friendlier one then the Lima received.

One would hope.

Sounds good. I'll let you know the ETA at some point. Contact me via PM if you want to incorporate any plot arcs into the usual port call story.

Then it is not necessary for me to tell you that SR Dhaka is welcome at Kobe.
BTW Crew is invited for diner at Himeji castle.

Mmm...sushi.

Or at least, that's what the crew would be thinking. I can't get near the stuff.

You'd probably find it preferable to live squid...

San Diego is always interested in meeting new and interesting people. As long as their ships don't blow up that is... :)

Think you've got India mixed up with somebody else, Canis.

Probably some American papers are starting to refer to all Indian, Japanese, and Filipino vessels as SATSUMA vessels, and think SATSUMA ships explode in odd and spectacular fashions.

Then they shall soon learn otherwise.

And no, that doesn't mean she'll explode in a perfectly normal and uneventful manner either.

Sure

Russian hat on/

She is welcome to visit Vladivostok or Cam Ranh Bay

French hat on/

Allow us to offer the hospitality of Saigon, Haiphong, Noumea, or papeete to the vessel and crew of SR Dhaka.

We'll go visit charming Vladivostok.

I'll have to puzzle over the French ports, as there are some political implications to be considered if and wherever a visit made.

Papeete would be on your way home from Chile, and could be useful for refueling if you need such services, as the Chileans using Adamstown for coaling won't have much oil for your newer ship.

Remember, approach with gun ports open (or is that Mimbari?)

She welcomed in OZ, might help improve relations.

I have insiders information that, that quote is incorrect.

Can a ship exlplode in a perfectly normal and uneventful manner? Hmmm an experiment for the Fillipinos.

At this rate you may have to extend to a world tour Rocky! If you fancy a slight detour through the Panama Canal your welcome to stop in at Maracaibo Venezuela.

I'll stick with the Pacific. "Less is more" and all that.

Australia will be added to the itinerary. Most likely it'll be about last on the trip, as it looks like Dhaka will be moving clockwise around the Pacific.
