1928

So, how much longer 'till we're ready to roll for 1928?

Need to finish up the Silver Crescent and let the British and German players catch up...

I still need to write quite a bit of news. As do some others.

The remainder of the week would be good to put the Silver Crescent to rest, plus I'm still head-scratching aspects of my Q1 work.

And don't forget the details about 'Indian Ships for 1928'. :-)

Well, I'm in the middle of nowhere, but there is no need to wait for me.

The big question is, when will Treaty revisions be discussed?

The bigger question is, when will Admiral Tirpitz throw his next tantrum?

We also have not settled on a place to hold the treaty talks. Perhaps we should all pick a number between 1 and 20 and the closest wins? Otherwise I'd vote for either South Africa or the U.S. hosting the talks.

I'd be willing to host any talks. One possible complication is that 1928 is an election year in the US, so this could become a domestic political issue of some importance.

So the USA will host - but where? Washington, New York, San Francisco, LA, Boston?

As I said before, Australia is willing to host the talks.

Do you want it to be held in a Treaty Nation or Neutral ground? I though you were going to have to talks in Hawaii or Manilla?

I don't think we decided definitavly, so lets get cracking and pick a place to meet. Pick a number if we have to...

No comments? Shall Atlantis host the talks again?

18

Monday, July 4th 2005, 10:25pm

Well, if you don't want Manila to...

:-)

(BTW, should we start Q1/28 on Thursday?)

My preferance would be for the SAE or the U.S. to host the talks...

As for starting Q1/28 I think we should try and get the location for the CT talks to take place inked in, that way we are not scrambling to post discussion on the talks and posting our own news, we also have to wrap up the Silver Cresent talks too....YIKES!

Well at last check there were five places up for holding the talks:

Manila, Philippines
Pearl City, Territory of Hawaii, United States
Sydney, Australia
Cape Town, South Africa
Cleito, Atlantis

Do I have any other bids?

After all bids are placed, the auction will begin.

(Chile will not vote as it will at best only send an observer....he might be vocal, but he has no vote).
