A bit slow?

Arrgh, another gun calibre.

33 knots isn't too slow for something that is replacing old light cruisers.

The 5 inch guns are intended to be the same as those on the Almirante Gideon...so American 5 inch 51 caliber. As this was the only thing I had between 110 and 150 mm that I want to keep, it made sense. As soon as the older destroyer leaders are old enough I'm removing the 4.7 and 4 inch inch guns from service in favor of the 110 mm and 5 inch guns.

Makes sense...

The Philippines also has a glut of gun calibres, but I intend to whittle them down to:
13.7mm
35mm
75mm
115mm
155mm
210mm
...and a few larger calibres. ;-)
(the 25mm, 57mm and 130mm calibres will remain on a few vessels...but the 100mm will be phased out as ships come in for refit.)
