Paris Post - 2 September 1927

The Marine Nationale anounced today the purchase of 1,200 tons of warship materials from the Russian Federation, to sustain the present construction programme. The materials will be delivered by December 1927, and will be paid for in four quarterly installments of 330 tons during 1928.
