6.1 Class A Destroyers

The Yelnia class are Russia's first Class A destroyers, laid down in 1937 and completed in 1938. A total of 13 were built, 12 for the Northern Fleet at Murmansk, and one for the Caspian Sea, funded entirely by the Armenian government.
This ship, Gift of Armenia, is the flagship of Russia's Caspian Sea Flotilla.
