675 tons recieved from Chile for payment of Floatplane Carrier and Subchaser Purchase.

Deal made to purchase a pair of floatplane carriers and 12 subchasers from Atlantis. Delivery of items:
AV-1 Michimalonco (ex Praia) delivered.
SC 1-6 delivered.
AV-3 Lautaro (ex-Mindelo)= delivered
SC 7-12 delivered


Second deal with Atlantis for a trio of "light cruisers" with the potential for a pair of "heavy cruisers" based on the same hull. 1,830 tons of material transfered to Atlantis for the building down of "light cruiser" (CL-6). Second "light cruiser" will be built locally. Third will be built in Atlantis. Should the "heavy cruisers" come about, the first will be built in Atlantis, the second in Chile.

Hmmm, I seem to remember another "escort" that was really a warship...plain and simple.

Perhaps we'll need to adopt that as a new code word, such as the following: Chile is planning on building 44,000 tons of escorts = 2 x 16,000 ton armored cruisers and a 12,000 ton heavy cruiser. It could work.
