*ommminous hummm*

I would say that I discovered Schlock on the 6th and had read all of the archives by the 10th, but I'm too modest for that. ;-)

BTW, Arthur, King of Time and Space isn't bad, also.

Breathing some life into a dead thread...

I checked out Schlock the other day. Can't honestly say it did a lot for me.

I'll point out Irregular Webcomic!, which I occasionally remember to check out. It appeals to the roleplayer in me, and I have to admit I'm fascinated at the scale of this man's Lego collection.

Well one must remember that not everyone is into science fiction nor violent humor. Of course it is possible that he started at a relatively unfunny section or in a confusing mess of a story. I looked at it once several months ago and didn't get interested in it, but when I started at the beginning and just kept going it made more sense and the humor worked better.

Fiction related

"He's dead, Jim"

James Doohan died this morning. That's two down.

Now we have a floundering starship missing a doctor and an engineer.

He couldna take it anymore.

A final space ride.

Then "Warpspeed" would do just nicely.

Is it just me or are we losing a lot of these guys?

Gene Autry, Jerry Clower, Charles Schultz, Jim Henson...
