Greek report, 1st quarter of 1921.

Ships budgeted for construction in 1921

12x T1 class torpedo boats x 584 tonnes Light ship = 7008 tonnes
12x YK 1 class sub-chasers x 517 tonnes Light ship = 6204 tonnes
4x Medusa class destroyers, batch 2 x 1252 tonnes Light ship =5008 tonnes
8x Delta class minesweepers x 262 tonnes Light ship =2096 tonnes

2x merchant ships to be converted into small craft tenders

The construction of the Improved Salamis class battle ship will proceed up to the lunching stage. Once lunched all construction will be halted until a decision on its future is arrived at.

The original batch 1 Salamis class have been completed and are awaiting the installation of their main armament. Their turrets are scheduled to commence arriving in Greece mid year. If all goes to plan the ships will be commissioned near the end of 1922.

Of the 13 Factories only three will be allocated this quarter to supply material for above projects
The remaining 10 Factories will be locked into the production of infrastructure points for the remainder of the year.

1st quarter of 1921.

Total material production for this quarter will be 3048 tonnes (3000 tones) and is to be divided amongst the following projects

1x improved salamis battleship, construction continuing at a slow pace at one of the type 3 dry-docks in Attica

Total tonnage allocated for it’s construction this quarter is 262 tonnes


4x T1 class torpedo boats laid down on the following dates and at the following facilities

T1 on 8 01 1921 in Attica on a type 0 slipway
T2 on 12 01 1921 in Attica on a type 0 slipway
T3 on 12 01 1921 in Attica on a type 1 slipway
T4 on 16 01 1921 in Attica on a type 1 slipway

Estimated total time of construction is 9.6 months

Total tonnage allocated for their construction this quarter is 974 tonnes



4x YK 1 class sub-chasers laid down on the following dates and at the following facilities

YK1 on 05 01 1921 in Patra on a type 1 slipway
YK2 on 08 01 1921 in Patra on a type 2 slipway
YK3 on 08 01 1921 in Patra on a type 0 dry-dock
YK4 on 09 01 1921 in Attica on a type 2 slipway

Estimated total time of construction is 9.5 months

Total tonnage allocated for their construction this quarter is 870 tonnes.


3x Delta class minesweepers laid down on the following dates and at the following facilities
Delta 1 on 04 02 1921 in Thessalonica on a type 0 slipways
Delta 2 on 08 02 1921 in Thessalonica on a type 0 slipways
Delta 3 on 12 02 1921 in Thessalonica on a type 0 dry-dock

Estimated total time of construction is 9.3 months

Total tonnage allocated for their construction this quarter is 338 tonnes.


The remaining 600 tonnes will be allocated in the second quarter
