So, whats your excuse????

Just a wierd "why" type question for the rest of you.....

Why did you select the nation you play????

Here's my reason!

One word: Yamato.

Two words: Teikoku Kaigun.
^_^

Three words: Manga and Anime.

I get the first and third, what's the middle one?

Technically, I'd say that was six words.

Why did I pick India? I wanted something small and manageable (though I now wish it was a little larger!). I didn't have a strong desire to play any historical nation, though I did contemplate Austria-Hungary and Brazil for short durations of time.

In the end, there was an expression of interest from Hooman in gaining an ally in the Indian Ocean, and India seemed the most logical nation to create there. Everything else - the aggressive foreign policy, the absolute monarchy - evolved from an interest in demonstrating that even small countries can be a large pain in the arse.

Teikoku = Imperial
Kaigun = Navy

Total yes, but...
If you want to know it in one word, I'll say "Yamato"
If you want to know it in two words, I'll say "Teikoku Kaigun"
If you want to know it in three words, I'll say "Manga and Anime"
If you want to know it in six words, I'll say "Read the six words typed above"

No. Can't do three things at once. So it's just a ordinary analysis of your reply.

Don't worry. Once the big boys have destroyed each other, you and the other small navies can create a better world for mankind to live in.

Don't worry, I had a choice between Denmark and The Philippines, and a model ship made my mind up!!

I had the choice between Iberia and Brandenburg and went for Iberia, Brandenburg (imaginary archipelgo in the pacific, settled by Germans and the High Seas Fleet escaped there) and the Pacific Theatre being a bit too far off the cuff for me.

But Brandenburg resurfaced, at least in name, over in Navalism... ;-)

I took the Philippines because I had the good fortune to drop in a suitable length of time after their previous player went AWOL.

I'm sure there's a few here who wish I hadn't:
