Transom stern on Zara...
... > 8,000t and < 34 knots...
... you could at least draw a transom stern on the Zara.
Would look much better that way. :-)

7

Sunday, March 27th 2005, 11:18pm

The transom is a relic from her previous 34knt incarnation. That was CA1927d whereas this is CA1927eii. If I take the transom stern off I might as well just return to historical Zara of 11.500t.

8

Monday, March 28th 2005, 12:45am

I'm confused.... does she have a transom stern?

9

Monday, March 28th 2005, 12:41pm

Not any more. Shes also shrunk by 2000t to a more historical size.

10

Tuesday, March 29th 2005, 4:18am

Why the change to Zara? The notion of a high-speed CA was interesting, and a little alarming.

11

Tuesday, March 29th 2005, 11:15am

I wanted the heavy armour more than speed. My perfect cruiser would have been Zara armour and Bolzano's 150,000shp powerplant, but SS way overestimates the wegiht of both so it is impossible. This way I get to keep Regina Elana as well :)

You´ve edited your report? What changed?

13

Saturday, April 2nd 2005, 7:14pm

Zara class of course. She's lighter now.

Change of tonnage for Zara and 0.1pts transferred from Turkey. Nothing sinister.

Edit; Changed design of Zara for last time. I've no idea why I kept the triple turrets.
