Madrid Naval Monitor 2.1.1921

The Treaty of Cleito is signed and it is hitting the Armada hard. The fitting out of the new Scout cruisers has been stopped to await new turrets - 13 cm popguns of all things! We are decomissioning the Principe de Asturias class, the Infanta Isabella class and Castilia class Battleships not even to mention getting rid of half of our armoured cuisers. This is a total desaster and we beg his Majesty and the Parliament not to ratify this Treaty that will leave us wide open to our enemies.
