Fuel, ammunition & stores: 3,138 tons, 23.7 %
Miscellaneous weights: 325 tons, 2.4 %

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
14,770 lbs / 6,699 Kg = 17.1 x 12.0 " / 305 mm shells or 2.0 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.31
Metacentric height 5.0 ft / 1.5 m
Roll period: 13.6 seconds
Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 71 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.35
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1.48

Hull form characteristics:
Hull has a flush deck
Block coefficient: 0.665
Length to Beam Ratio: 5.40 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 19.85 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 49 %
Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 48
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): -5.00 degrees
Stern overhang: -3.28 ft / -1.00 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
- Stem: 18.24 ft / 5.56 m

Hull space for machinery, storage, compartmentation is adequate
Room for accommodation and workspaces is adequate
Ship has slow, easy roll, a good, steady gun platform
Good seaboat, rides out heavy weather easily

Haven't you just renamed her as a training ship? I can see no reduction in offensive firepower whatsoever.

Well that is because it only has two main turrets and according to the CT, "three turrets with their armament may be retained in each ship." So for such an old vessel, there is not much main armament that has to be removed.

Mental note; hire Philipino help on that sextuple turret design. They already have experience from their battle submarines.

Battle submarines? What battle submarines? We ain't got no steenkin' battle submarines!! says Commodore Garcia as he uses his considerable...beam...to block view of monster sub.

The only alteration in firepower was the removal of the ten below-deck 6" guns (which will go to coast defenses). As Walter points out, there's a wee bit of a loophole there for PD-to-TS conversions...of course the removal of the main armour belt does make things more interesting for the crew, yes?

Well, they'll have plenty of incentive to practice at extreme ranges!
