Marseilles Review - 1/10/21 - France redeploying light forces

The French Mediterrainian Fleet is redeploying a number of ths light forces in order to better spread the burden of maintaining them among the major French bases at Maiseilles, Oran, and Beiruit.

6th Flotilla Torpilleurs, comprising 12 Brandelbas Class Destroyers, will henceforth be based at Oran.

Third Corvette Flotilla, comprising 12 Loire Class Corvettes, will henceforth be based at Beiruit.

Eighth Minesweeper Flotilla will be divided into two half-Flotillas and one each will be based at Beiruit and Oran.

Fourth Submarine Flotilla will henceforth be based at Oran.

Other news items:

The three Danton Class predreadnought battleships Condorcet, Mirabeau and Voltaire have begun the breaking process at Tunis, Oran, and Beiruit. The two twin 305mm and six twin 240mm turrets will be incorporated at these locations into the coastal artillery of these ports. Likewise, the ten 47mm and twenty eight 75mm guns will strengthen the air, sea, and landward defenses of these ports
