Jytlands-Posten, January16th, 1926

Day one of the trial of Christian Anders Zahle.

Yesterday, the first day of the trial, heard the Crown Prosecutor,Ronald Johannsen, putting the case for the prosecution to the court during the morning sitting.

He outlined the charges against the Minister, highlighting the evidence that he and his team would be using to drive home their arguement, as well as the witnesses he would be calling to back up this evidence.

After lunch the Minister's defence team, led by Jan Olafsen, had their opportunity to refute the charges laid against their client, and outlined their strategy for debunking the prosectuion's allegations.

The case is drawing a lot of interest from the public, evidenced by the fact that the public gallery in the court was packed to capacity on this first day.
