NEW BUILDING!!!!!!

After what can only be described as a “Bad Year” for the Navy, the government has recinded it’s ban on new ship building.

However, they have placed a limit of 3000 tons per quarter on this new program of building. This must have left the Navy Design department with a bit of a headache, as they have said in the past that they could use 20000 tons a quarter if they could get it!

As a result, they have decided to proceed with the laying down of 6 UD class Submarines and 4 River class Patrol-Boats this quarter. It is hoped to be able to use recycled tonnage from scrapped vessels to boost output later this year.
