I wouldn't mind messin with Colombia too, similar to Hrolfs recomendations for Peru.

I was thinking about doing work with Columbia too.. but Atlantis is a bit closer. :P

Those ACs need to be simmed, and if I was Columbia, I'd be awfully worried about the Argie and Brazilian BCs.

That was what I was thinking. With Atlantean assistance they could come out much improved.

rrrrich Columbian coffee...

Done and done.

Perhaps I should start fiddling with Azerbaijan? ^_^

Swampy, Lord of the NPCs, causing a ruckus all over the world..

Actually just how many unclaimed nations (with coastlines) are left? Latvia and Lithuania I know, along with Columbia.. but beyond that...?

Also Belgium, Ireland, and Saudi Arabia.. little trinkets. Although I think that Kaiser Kirk has designs on Belgium.. and I've always been a fan of a large Netherlands, even if it is a little contrary to my interests here... O_O

Or the Chilean supercruisers...

Shouldn't the Columbians be more worried about the fact that the Brazilian and/or Argentinan fleets, even without the battlecruisers, could stomp all over their fleet in a single day? I mean, for God's sake, their capships are a pair of old Brazilian pre-dreads. They really need to be upgrading their escort ships before they do anything else.

Or at least making sure they have good alliances with powerful neighbors like Iberia and/or Atlantis.

Colombia for now has good relations with Atlantis. I've planned on building some warships for them in the near future to boost their fleet. The Cali (ex-Colombia) class AC's aren't really worth an upgrade but thet could at least recieve an AA upgrade.

That too. In fact, I think the present Columbian government is pretty much an Atlantian puppet, so methinks they shouldn't be worrying at all. The Brazilians get on fine with the Atlantians, as do the Chileans, and I think the new Argentinian government is committed to avoiding the mistakes of the past (that is, getting themselve shot up by much more powerful nations.)

Argentines learn from mistakes! Never! Thats why I'm building a poweful fleet so I can stomp about and shoot up to my heart's content ;0)

Seriously though I've never thought about Colombia all that much or messing with Atlantis/Nordmark/SAE etc.

I guess all NPC nations have to keep their navies up to date.

I think NPC's like Yemen, Suadi Arabia, Iraq and Asir could use some modifications/additions too.

35

Indeed. Although I honestly don't know how much you can get away with at this point.

Mostly type 0 and 1 slips and drydocks, heavier on the drydocks I would assume. Iraq may be more built up due to British needs, a type 3 drydock for their older Battleships. Burma could be another lightly developed area.

Factory's is a different issue.

Well Iraq is British, and Asir will depend on how the Indians' plebiscite goes.

I'd say that Yemen probably has one factory, but hasn't any docks/slips yet (just the 200t-and-under wooden jobbies). Saudi Arabia - probably still 'working on' that first factory.

Whats the status on Bahrain, Qutar and Oman? are they part of Saudi Arabia or now independant? i would expect some level of developement along the Red Sea and Persian Gulf coasts. Jiddah and Dubayy come to mind.

British protectorates, along with Dubai and Abu Dabhi. Jiddah is part of S.A., and would probably be their first naval base.

I assume Asir has no infrastructure or factories; a class zero drydock would be generous.

Yemen might conceivably have a drydock at Hodeida - I assume the Ottomans must have had facilities somewhere along the Arabian coast.

Methinks Iraq might be independent by this point or close to it...
