RN Aircraft Carriers

HMS Argus

Considered as an experimental vessel.

I had problems making the sim work, I had to add an incredible amount of miscellaneous weight. I guess we can suppose that the designers were not able to make a fully efficient conversion and a lot of space and/or capability was wasted.

Her airgroup consist of 20 aircraft.

HMS Furious

As for future development, Argus will be decommisioned as soon as posible in order to free tonnage, and a new class of 20000+ ton is being considered, at least a couple units.

And after this one a smaller class, cruiser sized units, built in enough numbers to reach the treaty tonnage limits.
