From Factories
- 180 tons for six Project 503 riverine patrol boats (30t each).
- 480 tons for six Project 501 "Leopard" riverine monitors (80t each). Named Amur, Dep, Bureya, Bikin, Tok, and Khor.

Transactions
1825 tons to France for construction of five Project 89 "Kibela" class submarines (S-96 through S-100).

Scrapping Report
Submarines M-1 through M-10 scrapping. 65t recovered from each. Scrapping requires 1.8 months.

- Total tonnage in recycling until Q4/49: (10x65) = 650

Notes
Following on the heels of yet another war scare with China, the Russian Ground Forces demanded a strengthening of marine forces on the Amur River and its tributaries, which had previously been undertaken by shallow-draft oceanic ships sailing up the river. While the VMF Rossii started drawing up plans after the Bering Strait Incident, nothing had yet been laid down, and this was speedily rectified with two midsize and six small riverine monitors, plus six motor patrol boats. Further efforts are promised in the national press.
