The airline was incorporated on 31 March 1935 and is owned by Shanghai entrepreneur Lao Che. Lao Che owns different businesses including pharmaceutical and export companies, and several taverns and nightclubs. To fullfill the tasks of his export companies he founded the Lao Che Air Freight Service. First mainly focused on cargo transport the airline expanded very fast and implemented also passengers services.
