Thursday 8. April - Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
Fully flagged and with honorary parade on deck, the Chinese aircraft carrier HICMS Hengdao enters the port of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria as a representative of the glorious chinese nation. This is the first time that chinese ships have come all the way to visit an Atlantean port. While the remaining ships anchor outside the harbor, tugs help to bring the aircraft carrier to its designated location. With loud howling ship sirens, the Atlantic host is greeted when the carrier enters the harbor and after the ship is in positon. The visit of the Chinese ships should serve to improve the relations between the two nations.

Friday 9. April - Pratas Island
The reconnaissance aircraft was back from his patrol over the ocean and circled Pratas Island while waiting for its landing permission. The pilot looked at the fuel gauge - enough for thirty minutes, so no need to hurry he thought. Meanwhile, the powerful radar system on the island had been put into operation and thus another gap in maritime surveillance was closed.

"White-tailed eagle 19, clear for landing", he finally heared in the radio.

"Flaps twenty degrees - speed two hundred - landing gear down." said the co-pilot.

With thundering engines, the RN-2R aircraft landed on the runway and rolled toward the hangars. China's eyes were watching over the South China Sea.

Wednesday 14. April – onboard U-115
They ran south through the Bashi Channel. Two hours after they left the surface, Captain Chen Jianhua had read to the crew his sealed deployment order: Two weeks of intense target-setting and torpedo exercises in the canal, then continue course into the Luzon Strait for reconnaissance. This is very important and necessary, he told to the crew. But the men did not hear that for the first time.

Tuesday 20. April - Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
The visit of the Chinese fleet is coming to an end and so there are a lot of sad faces among the guests. "I hope that our visit has helped the people here to understand a bit better our chinese mentality - we arrived here as strangers, but we will leave Atlantis as friends." said Admiral Zhao Ji in an interview on the occasion of the visit.

Wednesday 21. April - Agadir Harbour
The chinese fleet stops at Agadir for a second port visit in Atlantis. After some day rest and after refreshing the stocks the chinese fleet will split into two parts. Some ships will continue the voyage towards the street of Gibraltar to visit Yugoslavia and Greece. The other ships will turn back and sail via Cap of Good Hope to Dar es Salam.

Saturday 24. April – Qingdao Harbour
It's called sea air, Captain Cao Kun thought, but in reality the smell comes from the land - from the mudflats and swamps. Sailors love that smell because it means land, harbor and family are close. Otherwise, such fragrances are best treated with disinfectant. Two harbor tugs came alongside and threw ropes to the sailors of the Zhuhai. The harbor pilot had come with one tug and he looked like he had been doing this job for years.

"Good to have you back home." the pilot said, and started to give instructions to the tugs. The Zhuhai was moved sideways onto a pier and securely moored. As soon as the ship was moored, an officer hurried aboard and immediately came to the bridge.

"Sir, i am Lieutenant Commander Cheng Tianfang and should give this to you." He handed over an official-looking envelope. Kun tore it open and found a brief order on a standard Navy form to take the quickest route to Beijing.

"And my ship ?" he asked.

"I'll take care of that, sir.", answered the Officer.

Just like that, Cao Kun thought. He was nodding and going below the deck to his cabin to get his private things. Ten minutes later, he silently left the ship.

Friday 30. April – Agadir Harbour
Fully flagged and with firing salute guns the chinese ships left the atlantean port.

While I would be very happy if it were otherwise, in Wesworld Dubrovnik is located in what the Yugoslavs consider "Italian Occupied Dalmatia" - ie. it is Italian territory. ;( The Dounan and her consorts are welcome to visit the ports of Bar or Durres; Kotor might be a bit difficult, though it would send an interesting message to the Italians.
