What is likely layout of the gun arrangement?
Trying to envision where you can squeeze four twin 75mm mounts (2 beam and 2 centre), four 20mm quads and four MG twins as well as two sextuple racks of torpedoes (not to mention a couple of A/S mortars to boot!).

Mortars are actually on the bow, layout in general is as in the Swedish Halland class destroyers (which is what I'm going for looks wise too). Seeing as these ships are close to 70 feet longer than the historical Halland class I had assumed that the centerline 75mm mounts would be super imposed aft. As this is batch one, subsequent batches will have different layouts in an attempt to improve the design.

Problem is I have no stats on the mortars used on the Halland's (yet) so I'm not sure how successful they will be on this design.

*edit* found some!

The Halland carried a quad Bofors 375mm ASW mortar - a cloned version is used by the KM, and I believe that the Marine Nationale has a similar system planned or in service. I suppose you *could* mount them on the forecastle ahead of "A" mount but I'm not certain I'd want to be a member of that turret's gun crew - the back blast is considerable. Modern designs using remote-controlled mounts, such as Yubari, shown here, have fewer issues with the back-blast.

In KM service, this sort of system is mounted aft in lieu of torpedo tubes to avoid such issues.

Yes, the French and Russians designed a system similar to the Bofors system, and have used it for about four years now. The Russians call it 9K42-M6 "Groza", and the French use it as LRASM-320. I've used the system as it appears on Halland, with two quad mounts on the ship's forecastle.

I used the 320mm caliber, however, rather than the 375mm size.
