Other Notes
Experimental Motor Torpedo Boat La Combattante continues conducting extensive trials in the Manche to test its experimental gas turbine.

Construction continues on the new aircraft carrier Le Terrible at La Rochelle. No official pronouncements are given about the ship's specifications. An unofficial model 3m long is displayed at the French Navy Museum in Toulon, showing a ship with enclosed hurricane bows (as on the previous three carrier classes), three catapults, and a starboard-side island with an angled funnel. An order for a second ship, rumored to be named Le Tonnant, is confirmed with DCNS. Steam catapults developed by Russia (developed for the Reval class) are purchased for the aircraft carrier Foudroyant.

The next two Indochinese destroyers, Tran Binh Trong and Tran Quang Khai, are launched in Marseilles, while the Ly Thuong Kiet and Ngo Quyen are completed, beginning sea trials in the Mediterranean.

A major program to increase the quantity of fleet auxiliaries is underway.

Four more medium and four more light minesweepers are laid down, bringing the total under construction to eight ships of each type.

Reader's note:

For some reason I've been rather slipshod about fixing the numbers for the Indochinese order-of-battle. I combed through everything in some detail, and I am fairly confident that everything is up-to-date as of this sim report. The sim reports for the last 1-2 years appear to have been missing a few things - usually light craft or ships under construction. I've made sure the encyclopedia is updated as well.
