Low-wing cantilever monoplane. All metal two-spar structure with metal framed, fabric-covered ailerons. Gross wing area 85.70 sq. metres.
Fuselage is an all-metal semi-monocoque structure. Cantilever monoplane type tail unit. All-metal tailplane and fin, metal framed fabric-covered rudder and elevators.
Retractable nose-wheel type undercarriage. Hydraulic operation with main wheels retracting into the engine nacelles. Oleo shock absorbers and hydraulic brakes. Track 5.27 metres, wheelbase 4.90 metres.
Two Racovica-built Pratt & Whitney R-2180-E Twin Wasp E fourteen cylinder radial air cooled engines of 35.7 litre displacement. Power output 1,825 hp. Three-bladed constant speed hydromatic airscrews.
Accommodation for a crew of three and up to thirty-two passengers. Cabin heated and air-conditioned. Night-flying and wireless equipment standard.
