El Popular (Lima), 23 December 1946

Former Prime Minister Orlando Baylon arrived here today by plane from Guayaquil. Mister Baylon has been recovering from surgery in Switzerland due to a serious medical condition, but has now been judged fit enough to return to his home. Following his arrival he met briefly with President Odría and José Luis Bustamante y Rivero, leader of the Partido Democrático Nacional, before retiring to his home in Miraflores.
