The Reservefleet includes all the warships of the chinese navy, which are kept operational, but are not active in service. The mothballed ships are fully operational but may, by covering or sealing of important parts, have a different appearance. It is just a small crew on board that will ensure the operational capability of the vessel.

Commander-in-Chief is Rear Admiral Shi Lang. The HQ of the reservefleet is Tianjin, where also all ships are stationed.
