Retained French capital ships & cruisers

The government of the Republic of France intend to retain the following capital ships and cruisers:

Of the Provence Class:
Provence, Laid down 5/1/12 Launched 4/20/13 Completed 6/5/15

Bretagne, Laid down 9/1/12 Launched 4/21/13 Completed 9/12/15

Lorraine, Laid down 8/1/12 Launched 9/30/13 Completed 7/27/16

Of the Courbet Class:
Courbet, Laid down 11/10/10 Launched 9/23/11 Completed 11/19/13

France, Laid down 9/1/10 Launched 9/23/11 Completed 11/19/13

Paris, Laid down 11/10/11 Launched 9/28/12 Completed 8/1/14

Dreadnought battleship to be retained for training purposes:
Courbet Class battleship Jean Bart, Laid down 11/15/10 Launched 9/22/11 Completed 6/15/13

Predreadnought battleship to be retained for experimental purposes:
Danton Class battleship Vergniaud.

Predreadnought battleships to be scrapped:
All ships of the Liberte', Republique, Henri IV, Charlemagne, Jauréguiberry, Carnot, and Charles Martel classes and all remaining ships of the Danton class.

French cruisers to be retained:
All ships of the De Grasse class, completed in 1920 (4)
All ships of the Gloire class, completed 1903-1904 (4)
Two ships of the Gambetta Class, completed 1904-1907

French cruisers to be retained for training:
Edgard Quinet, Laid down 10/1/05 Launched 9/1/07 Completed 1/1/11
Waldeck Rousseau, Laid down 6/1/06 Launched 3/1/08 Completed 8/1/11

French cruiser to be retained for experimental purposes:
Ernest Renan, Laid down 7/1/04 Launched 4/1/06 Completed 1/1/09

French cruiser to be retained as target:
Jules Michelet, Laid down 6/1/04 Launched 8/1/05 Completed 11/1/08

French cruisers to be scrapped:
All remaining cruisers of the Gambetta, Dupliex, Guedon, Jeanne d’Arc, Pothuau, Amiral Charner, and Dupuy de Lôme classes.

The government of the Republic of France undertake that the replacement of four of the the retained Gloire and Gambetta Class may not commence until thirteen years after the completion of the following ships:
Edgard Quinet, Completed 1/1/11
Waldeck Rousseau, Completed 8/1/11
Ernest Renan, Completed 1/1/09
Jules Michelet, Completed 11/1/08

The government of the Republic of France further undertake that the completion of the replacements cruisers specified above shall not occur until sixteen years subsequent to the dates specified above.
