Recognising that the age of the torpedo boat is all but over (and that the basic design is cramped and quite crappy), the three Indomita Class torpedo boats will be refitted for general escort duties. Their primary role is AA escort of convoys but they have a minimal if useful ASW capability too.
The four later Indominta II and Project 454 developments will get radar and will retain their 600mm torpedoes as useful surface escorts.

Originally I wanted 4x2 55mm but the ship couldn't take them and a decent enough ammo load. Even now its not brilliant but keeps these relatively young ships going.

Recognising that the age of the torpedo boat is all but over

Not necessarily. You could arm them with rockets or missiles and refer to those weapons as "Air Torpedoes" thus giving you an excuse to keep on using the term "Torpedo Boat". :)

Looking to replace the Avispon with a modern third carrier, Argentina's naval architects have dipped their toes into creating a modern carrier.

Another new class for 1948, two LSTs to give the Marines more modern vessels to operate from.

The design is basically my RN Beach Class (modelled on ShinRa's Canadian design) but converted into metric. Lazy from me, but effective I think since the basic design ShinRa came up with is pretty good.
