Netherlands Ships 1948

A new design I'm cooking up for the Dutch is a new submarine class. I've now ditched the old K and O split (coastal and ocean) and all future submarines will be oceanic types.
This design is based on the real Dolfijn class design. Nothing stellar but should be a useful design. I'll probably aim to build at least 5 or more in the next few years.
As ever, design advice is welcome.

CVS-8 Class

The Dutch Navy relies mainly on small scouting carriers with only two slightly larger strike carriers. In 1948 its proposed to lay down two further strike carriers to boost numbers of aircraft at sea.
The ultimate plan would be to have four of these in the DEI supported by four scouting CVs with the screening forces and the rest of the smaller CVs in Home waters or perhaps off Africa.
The CVS-8 is a development of the CVS-5 but with some improvements but similar design ethos and airgroup.

Looks like a pretty sturdy design, but why 57mm and 40mm at the same time? Or did I miss a similar discussion earlier?

Good point Rocky. I might remove the 40mm and add a couple more 57mm, I don't think 16 LAA mounts will fit anyway given the sizes of these two mounts.
Oddly, as the RN moves away from 57mm back to 40mm the Dutch are doing the opposite!
