The photos are actually those of the US T24 MG prototype, the attempted WW2 clone of the MG 42. It failed because someone failed to maintain the dimensions when converting from metric to Imperial. The stats are those of the OTL MG 42, which are not really different from WW's MG 3.
Representatives from Zastava would strenuously deny any attempt at 'copying' a German design... ;)
