Looking at the list and comparing it with the Chosen list, I feel that the losses are kinda low, especially considering that Japan got involved in the war (and apparently with that list you are suggesting that the Japanese do not have the ability to hit any Chinese ships). They may not have sent out the warships to take on the Chinese but there would have been plenty of time in the war to launch air raids against Chinese warships (unless you sent them into the Indian Ocean for safety). A Chinese target at sea is just as much a valid target as one that is on land. Japan also has the Mitsubishi Q2M1 ASW plane which would have been hunting Chinese submarines as well as a flying 75mm cannon that could take on the lighter naval combatants.

Keep patience. List is not complete. Published List is only losses of chinese ships causing by chosen military. Losses caused by japanese military will follow.

By the way .... where can i find the japanese losses ?

Japan 'lost' submarines I226-I233, I274 and I275 in a trade with Chosen but gained the carrier Sinyo (ex RCN Chosen). Other than those... uhm.. none? After all I was not aware that Japan had to send warships to China to operate there against Chinese ships or the Chinese coastline.
