Hmm.

I thought that we had an arrangement whereby Pacifica was to purchase the four Skopje class torpedo boats from Yugoslavia with 680 tons paid in 2Q46 and 1,020 tons paid in 3Q46?

D'oh! Good thing you reminded me of that. Will correct it right away.

Corrected. I use a spreadsheet for Japan but Pacifica is very small so I use that from memory so there is a chance that you will need to slap me around a bit when I forget the Q3/46 payment.

I shall do that, if necessary.

Just curious as to why your reports don't show how much tonnage has been put into ships building......

IIRC back in the early days my early reports were deemed to be too complex by the majority and they requested if I could use Rocky's style for my reports so I changed it to that exact format and with that change all details of how much was still needed (both with tonnage and time) were lost from the reports. I have been using it since July 22, 2004 and never altered it when it comes to the shipbuilding style. When I look at Rocky's most recent report on the board (Iberia, Q1 1946) it is still pretty much the same as it was back then as well.

At least no one has requested that I attempt to simplify my reports... and I probably report more than I need.

I would, however, prefer to have the total tonnage committed to a particular ship reflected in the report; it helps to know how far along a ship is in its construction cycle. Given the fact that the IJN tends to build big, it is too easy to lose track of how far a ship is in construction, what with lengthy construction times. What is presented is satisfactory, but I for one would prefer more detail.

I would likely ask for the same info from Rocky as well and anyone else for that matter as its much easier than having to search through the reports for the laydown date and track the progress from there. As far as I know I'm literally using Rocky's original format for showing ship building progress.

What?!? And make the board's search option obsolete?!? No, I feel that if you want to know something about that stuff, you should work for it. :D

Work is over rated!

That is why I let you do the work and keep it simple for myself. :P
