So having reached the end of another year, Iberia is in improved circumstances. The battleline is now complete and the pre-Cleito capital ships can all be retired. Major deficiencies in the fleet train and amphibious forces have been addressed. Progress has been made on improving the cruiser force.

In 1946-7, I've scheduled in a second Lisbon-class carrier, two heavy cruisers, six flak-cruisers, and twelve destroyers and submarines.

Areas still in need of some attention are, I think:

-Mine warfare: Though sim reports list 28 ships, there are no sims, so whatever they are, they probably date back to Lord Arpad's time with us in the 1920s. Figure a good run of coastal sweepers is coming.

-Fleet train: Probably some cargo ships, ammo carriers, and salvage tugs

-Amphibs: I might extend the run of attack transports to twelve, and convert the six old units to attack cargo ships. Production of minor craft might be satisfactory for now. Some strategic transports - along the lines of what I built for Bharat - might be worthwhile for timely reinforcement of peripheral regions.

-Refits: Existing sloops and submarines need refits. There's a lot of them, so this might stretch Iberia's drydock resources.

-Infrastructure: Not sure if any extensions are necessary just yet, but I could continue allocating four factories towards that end.

Your thoughts are welcome.
