155mm FG Cockerill M1924
Designed as a more modern replacement for the pre-Great War guns. Split tail carriage with rubber tired wheels allows artillery tractors to tow at reasonable speeds. The Belgians paired the gun with a new Dutch carriage. The new split-trail carriage features four roadwheels, each mounting two tires. The wheels could be lifted, allowing the gun to rest on a firing platform. This made the gun very stable and thus accurate.
