Panzer II Arg Based Self-Propelled Guns

TG-2M38 (JadgPanzer II Arg)
Self-Propelled Armoured Anti-Tank Gun: 11.64 tonnes, 4.8/2.27/1.95m, one 240hp MAN diesel with 7-speed Renk transmission, 37mph, 156 miles, 40-8mm armour (Chassis armour: 40mm front, 20mm sides, 12.5mm rear, 8mm deck, 12mm belly), one 47mm gun (60 rounds) and one 7.92mm LMG (1200 rounds), 4 crew.
72 ordered from Germany in 1938 to equip mobile anti-tank companies and 12 more in 1940. A total of 72 are in service with 12 in storage.

TG-3M38 (Sturmgeshutz II Arg)
Self-Propelled Armoured Gun: 11.94 tonnes, 4.8/2.27/1.95m, one 240hp MAN diesel with 7-speed Renk transmission, 36mph, 156 miles, 40-8mm armour (Chassis armour: 40mm front, 20mm sides, 12.5mm rear, 8mm deck, 12mm belly), one 75mm M33 L/24 gun (45 rounds) and one 7.92mm LMG (1200 rounds), 4 crew.
72 ordered from Germany in 1938 to equip mobile anti-tank companies and 12 more in 1940. A total of 84 are in service.

TG-4M42




22 tons, 5.86/3.32/3.25m, one 300hp diesel, 24mph, 190 miles, 50-15mm armour, one 105mm howitzer and two 7.92mm LMG (one bow and one roof-mounted), 5 crew. 72 ordered late 1942 to equip heavy support companies.
This is a development of the T-3M36 tank chassis to produce an armoured self-propelled gun. The design was drawn up by Colonel Bidone, an Artilleryman who also is a Military Engineer, with the aid of the Arsenal Esteban de Luca. A new enclosed box structure replaces the turret. A total of 84 are in service with 12 in storage.

TGA-1M33



TGA-1M33 Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun
A D’Silva Motor Works DSM D80 4x4 truck with an armoured cab and engine cover with one 20mm Oerlikon M29/O on the flatbed section with an armoured shield. These trucks were converted by Alfredo Bash during 1933 and serve with the Armoured Regiments.

TGA-2M47

During 1947 36 of the 40 turretless spare T-4M38 (Panzer II Arg) chassis were converted in self-propelled AA guns by Arsenal Esteban de Luca. A mounting designed by Cockerill of Belgium, based on their twin 37mm mount fitted to Cromwell tanks in Belgian service, was fitted. This carries a single 37mm M45 gun with an armoured shield. All 36 vehicles serve with the Armoured Regiments.

TGA-3M47

An Austin Argentina Fabrica de Aumotobiles (AAFA) K3 6x2 truck fitted with an armoured cab and engine cover with one twin 20mm Oerlikon M29/O M46 mount on the flatbed section with an armoured shield. 84 trucks were converted by Alfredo Bash during 1947 and replaced the old TGA-1M33 in the Armoured Regiments and also equipped new batteries in the Infantry Divisions.
