I didn't see anywhere, either here or in the Belgian report, how much was paid for the purchase of these ships. Can you make that more plain someplace in the report?

Well the simple answer is, there was no payment per se, that is the Naval Cooperation Plan will involve some offset deals and ship exchanges over the next year or so. The full tale will be a future news item. Right now I'm juggling several things and hopefully as things crystallise everything will be clearer. Some minesweepers will be transferred for Belgium, two of the ex-Belgian merchants will be converted and returned to Belgium and some scrap tonnage might also be going Belgium's way too. Other deals will be new maritime patrol aircraft, new radars etc. to help the navy in its tasks.
In its own way the Naval Cooperation Plan will fit into the web of Benelux stories over the next year or so.

So long as Belgium gets some sort of in-game price in return (be it new minesweepers and auxiliaries or whatever), I'm fine. I just wanted to make sure the Dutch are not getting a bunch of completely free ships, particularly when the Belgians received another purchase offer from a third party. I just am looking to make sure the Dutch beat my bid somehow or another... ;)
