Formations: The East African Army features Four Infantry divisions, one Alpine division and one Mechanized division. These are patterned after Italian Divisions, and as such have the same Orders of Battle. This gives a total manpower of 79600 men in active service as troops. A 15% estiment of command staff and other elements not assigned directly to divisions gives a total army manpower of 91,540.
