Seems to fit, though the machinery spaces will be stretched out or long propeller shafts used which offer other problems. I wonder if moving the forecastle break forward and having all the tubes the same height (to avoid problems with torpedoes hitting the water at height) might be a good idea, but of course hull space and seakeeping will suffer.
Still seems too much oddity for my liking when quad and quin tubes have become widespread.
