In order to improve the reliability of the weapon via less complexity, the ability for automatic fire is removed. About .5kg is shaved of the weight of the original design. Other refinements are made to increase mechanical reliability. The weapon is intended to be used primarily by the Arditi due to the increase in firepower at shorter ranges it provides. Other units are not expected to pick up the weapon in large quantities, tho it is anticipated that some specialists may use the weapon.
