Poor submariners...

The final descision came rather quick. Have there been earlier incidents with those boats?

OOC:
No, this was the first incident with a chinese sub, but these vessels are 25 years old and brand new subs are on build so the old could be scrapped.

No surprise about the submarines. When RA sold them, he admitted they were already in a pretty bad way, and didn't have more than a year or two of service left. That was, eh, five or six years ago?

Really, submarine accidents like this weren't all that unusual in this period, so it's nice that somebody showed an accident occurring.

Hepu Air Force Base (testing ground for new aircrafts of the chinese airforce), 17. February 1943, 7:18pm local time

Captain Lai Ming Tang woke up half an hour before his alarm clock was ringing. Two more hours until today's briefing for the test flight.
A little more sleep would have been better for him, but he knew he was too hyped to get more sleep. His bedroom, which he shared
with Captain Lu Ji-Chun, was one of the maintenance office on the top floor of Hangar 509 at the northern area of Hepu Air Force Base.
In the huge hangar among them were two brand new aircraft: Ming Tang ST-205 and an aircraft that he had never seen before. This
other aircraft has, like his ST-205, two propellers, but however which was unusual, a triple fin. He had no idea about what this aircraft was.
But also it does not really matter, because he focused on the task which lay before him, another test flight of its ST-205.

In Beijing as part of the Chinese National Air Defense (CNAD), the Air Battle Force (ABF) was founded. The Air Battle Force consists of three squadrons, and sees itself as a rapid reaction force of the CNAD. While the remaining parts of the CIC are used more or less only for defensive tasks, the ABF is the attack component of the CNAD.
